I am a lawyer
Does the client file stay with me, and will it run on my laptop?
Yes on both. The model is a file on your disk. 16 GB of memory for every feature.
See how Vult1 fitsDocument preparation that stays on your computer
Vult1 blacks out personal data, finds the dates and amounts, sums up and translates long documents, and answers with the page it took the answer from. The model is a file on your disk: no cloud, no account, no IT department.
The worry: A copy of the file on someone else’s server. The model is a file on your disk. Nothing is uploaded, to us or to anyone.
Vult1 blacks out personal data in the copies for the other side, finds the deadlines in letters and judgments, and answers questions on long leases, deeds and contracts with the page it took the answer from. The client file stays on your laptop.
The worry: A client file on a stranger’s server, or a citation that does not exist. Nothing is uploaded, and every answer shows the page it came from, so you check it before it leaves your hands. No bar has approved Vult1; we quote the guidance so you can check for yourself.
Your clerks black out identity data in the copies for the parties, sum up long deeds and fill the office templates, on the office PCs with staff seats; the notary asks, checks and signs off. Nothing is sent to a federation, a cloud or a vendor.
The worry: Identity data leaking from a copy, and a tool the clerks cannot use. Names, birth dates, addresses and account numbers are shown one by one for a decision, the new PDF is read again to prove the text is gone, and the whole flow runs on the office network.
Drop a folder of client PDFs: Vult1 lists every document with its date and type, finds the amounts with their page, reads the deadline in a letter from the tax administration, and removes account numbers from the copies. Keep your suite; the pile is prepared before it gets there.
The worry: Client data in a cloud tool, and one more subscription on top of the suite. The files never leave your machines, and the price list has no quotas and no metering. Vult1 does not do bookkeeping; it prepares the pile.
Tenant and buyer files are cleaned on your own PC before they travel: names, birth dates, addresses and account numbers blacked out item by item, leases and sale agreements summed up, the dates in them found. Nothing is uploaded.
The worry: A complaint from a rejected applicant, or a leaked copy of an ID card. Identity and bank data are removed from the copy before it leaves the office, and the new PDF is read again to prove the text is gone. Phone photos of documents need a graphics chip.
Claim files, expert reports and HR files are prepared on your own computer: names, birth dates, addresses and account numbers removed from the copies, item by item and verified; a long file summed up, with figures flagged when they are not in the original. Nothing is uploaded, not even for a second.
The worry: Health or HR data in a cloud tool. Nothing leaves the computer. Vult1 removes the data from the copies you choose to redact; it does not make your processing lawful, and health-specific terms are not detected as a category yet, so you review the text yourself.
Access-to-documents and subject-access requests answered with third-party data blacked out and verified, long files summed up for a director, and a log of every model call for the audit. Installs from a USB disk and runs on a computer with no internet.
The worry: A breach of the cloud policy, and proving that nothing left. Install on a standalone machine from a USB bundle, activate with a voucher from a phone, and Settings › Network shows every channel and its last contact. Bought by purchase order, with an invoice.

Seven kinds of office use Vult1. Each came with a first question. Pick yours.

See how Vult1 fitsI work for an NGO, a newsroom or a legal-aid service
Can I work on sensitive files on a laptop that is never online?
After the first start every job works offline; for a laptop that is never online, an offline licence file is available on request.
See how Vult1 fitsSent outside this computer today: 0 bytes. The status line at the foot of every Vult1 window.
Cloud AI chat is handy. It is also a copy of your client’s file on someone else’s server. Nobody knows how long it is kept, or who can read it. So the work is done by hand, or the risk is taken.
Vult1 does the same jobs on the computer in front of you. The model is a file on your disk. Unplug the cable and it still works. Every answer shows the page it came from, and you check it before it leaves your hands.
No account to create, no IT department to call. Install, open a file, done.
Every feature comes with the limit we measured, in the same type size. We publish the test results, including the weak spots, on the evaluation page.
Names, addresses, e-mails, phone numbers, bank accounts and birth dates are found and shown to you one by one. You decide, the app writes a new PDF and reads it again to prove the text is gone.
Limit: Tested on 5 short documents. Review the result before sharing.
The trigger date and the rule are taken from the letter; the date is computed by code with the holiday tables of DE, FR, BE, NL and LU. The working is shown. You confirm.
Limit: The rule tables are not yet reviewed by a lawyer. Verify every date.
Ask in French, Dutch, German or English. The answer cites the passage and page, checks its own figures against it, and says when the file does not contain the answer.
Limit: About 1 answer in 8 was wrong in our 40-question test. Open the cited page.
Long documents become a summary in the document’s language, or a translation between French, Dutch, German and English. Figures missing from the original are flagged.
Limit: Summaries leave out exact figures. Use cited answers for specifics.
A table of every document, with date, type, parties and pages, and a dated chronology of the matter, exported to Word or Excel.
Limit: No accuracy figure yet; built and used on our own test files.
French, Luxembourg and Dutch statutes are searched offline by article number or by meaning, with the official citation and “as of” date.
Limit: German statutes: not yet. No case law.
The pull-the-plug moment
The model is a file on your disk, like a dictionary. After the first start, every feature works with the network cable out. Four small channels remain, each visible and switchable in Settings: licence, model files, statute packs, updates.
Checked by you, not claimed by us: Settings › Network shows every channel and its last contact.
Working offline, on this computerNothing was sent. Nothing needs to be.
Proof by demonstration
Three jobs on a fictional formal notice: black out personal data, find the deadline, ask with citations. The results are scripted for the sample; nothing is sent anywhere. The real app does the same on your own files.
No testimonials, no logos, no star ratings yet. The beta is young. What we publish instead: the measurements on named test sets, the full network list, the changelog, and a pilot programme in which firms test Vult1 on their own files and score it on their own machines.
Nothing to configure, nothing to host. The first start needs internet once, for the model files and the trial key.
Download for Mac or Windows and open the file. About two minutes.
Day 0 · online
About 9 GB of model files, checked after download, kept on your disk. Then start the 15-day trial with an e-mail address: the clock starts then, not before.

Drop a folder of documents. Black out, ask, find the dates, sum up. Every feature works offline.
